This is the entrance to the PARTIES \u2014 a workspace for developing political parties that translate United Earth principles into democratic action within existing nation-states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PARTIES exist as a transitional instrument<\/strong>, not as a component of the long\u2011term United Earth governance system. This way, the parties have a fundamentally different purpose than the other two components: the AGORA system and the three COUNCILS, which are intended to become permanent parts of the new geopolitical system.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

United Earth does not advocate political parties as a feature of future global governance, but quite the opposite: political parties should no longer be part of the electoral system, and instead continue as any other interest groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parties are used by the project strategically because they are the primary political tool available within today\u2019s nation\u2011state systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
