This is the entrance to the PARTIES — a workspace for developing political parties that translate United Earth principles into democratic action within existing nation-states.

Purpose

PARTIES exist as a transitional instrument, not as a component of the long‑term United Earth governance system. This way, the parties have a fundamentally different purpose than the other two components: the AGORA system and the three COUNCILS, which are intended to become permanent parts of the new geopolitical system.

United Earth does not advocate political parties as a feature of future global governance, but quite the opposite: political parties should no longer be part of the electoral system, and instead continue as any other interest groups.

Parties are used by the project strategically because they are the primary political tool available within today’s nation‑state systems.

Main tasks

The PARTIES workspace supports:

  • Development of nation-state-level parties aligned with United Earth’s structural principles
  • Translation of United Earth concepts into nation-state legible political programs
  • Coordination between parties operating in different countries within the same emerging or existing bloc
  • Preparation of democratic processes that enable states to delegate sovereignty upward in a legitimate and democratic manner

The United Earth PARTIES do not define global policy. They operate upstream of global governance, within existing political frameworks.

Activity

Activity within UE PARTIES focuses on:

  • Program development and political strategy at the nation‑state level
  • Legal and constitutional pathways for bloc formation and sovereignty transfer
  • Coordination with civil society, institutions, and movements supportive of structural reform
  • Engagement with voters and public discourse in national contexts

PARTIES are not campaign machines for ideological agendas, but tools for structural transition.

Participation

Participation in PARTIES is open to individuals willing to engage in formal political work within existing democratic systems. Participants typically include:

  • Political organisers and party founders
  • Legal and constitutional experts
  • Policy developers and communicators
  • Citizens prepared to engage in long‑term, non‑violent political processes

Participation implies acceptance of the GOV//ID principle and commitment to democratic, non‑violent methods.

Onboarding and requirements

Minimum requirement for participation in United Earth is Earth Citizenship.

Additional onboarding requirements may apply depending on national legal frameworks and the specific responsibilities undertaken within a party.

PARTIES are explicitly temporary instruments. As nation‑states transition into blocs and global democratic institutions gain legitimacy, the role of parties within United Earth is expected to diminish and eventually dissolve.*
